Job Description:
Objective:
The Interactive Designer conceptualizes and creates graphic and user interface solutions for online advertising campaigns under the direction of the IxD Manager. Graphics are created using a combination of mainstream graphics, animation packages and html editors. The Interactive Designer works in liaison with the Studio and Development teams; collaboratively delivering quality client solutions using the Sarmady project methodology. They will also work with the client and project team to employ the Sarmady Interaction Prototyping approach to resolve the navigation for a website.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and present effective design/graphic solutions
• Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
• Excellent layout, animation and typography skills
• Estimate project effort required
• Work and report to a project plan/timeline
• Manage integrating graphics into project construction and filing processes
• Manage and record time on projects
• Contribute to the navigational and instructional design of websites
• Prepare and optimize graphics for use
• Organize and manage content flow
• Carry out production utilizing mainstream graphics, animation packages
• HTML editing
Required Experience:
• Preferable design degree or diploma
• Proven commercial experience in an interactive design role
• Understanding of user interface fundamentals
• Understanding of design for content management systems, usability and accessibility practice and customer focus are essential.
• Maintain high standard of user interface design work (assessed by IxD Manager)
• Performance to estimate
• Productivity
• Ability to accept a wide range of tasks
• 360 review
Required Skills:
• Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash animation skills
• HTML/JavaScript, ActionScript 2.0/3.0 is a plus
• Excellent portfolio
• Written comprehension skills
